Toseef is passionate about breaking the cycle of offending and the effects of crime on communities, using his lived experience and criminology education to inform his work. He holds a BSc in Criminology and Social Policy and a Diploma in Criminology from The Open University, where he gained a comprehensive understanding of the causes, consequences, and responses to crime and justice issues.As the National Lived Experience Lead at HM Prison and Probation Service, Toseef supports colleagues across MOJ and HMPPS to embed the voice of lived experience into service design and policy. He facilitates collaboration and co-production with service users, staff, and stakeholders, ensuring that their perspectives and insights are valued and respected. Additionally, as the founder and director of Wizer CIC, Toseef has developed partnerships and projects across Yorkshire and Humber, that seeks to address the rehabilitative needs of those entrenched within the system and often living chaotic lives. He also provides professional training and public speaking on criminal and sexual exploitation by organised crime groups, drawing from his expertise and credibility from working directly with those in the criminal justice system
