Currently working as a SBU Human Resources Recruitment and Placement Specialist for VISN 1/VA Maine for Title 5, Title 38 Hybrid, and Title 38, all occupations excluding Physicians and RN. The work is moving toward outreach and is primarily consultative for all types of recruitment. I am considered a subject matter expert on most Recruitment and Placement matters and have worked in conjunction with Michael Degeis to create a VISN 1 SBU Specialist platform for assistance general recruitment and placement questions and issues. I am confident in where and when to apply legal requirements issued by OPM, WMC, VA, Union Agreements and various other sources for Non-Competitive and Direct Hire as well as posting on USA Jobs. I was mentor to SSU Specialist Courtney Burkett under SSU Supervisor Sokha Ling and was a mentor to SBU Specialist Kimberly Chatman under SBU Supervisor Mary Whitten and Sokha Ling for VA Maine. I am currently working with Kim for odd appointments for VA Maine less Physicians and RNs, covering all Titles. Involved in all aspects of Recruitment and Placement including; Consultation with Services/Selecting Officials; Assisting Services/Selecting Officials with documents including walkthroughs on Job Analysis and Rating Category Summary Forms; recruitment procedure, navigation of HR Smart; posting positions in USA Staffing, qualification, and certificate issuance; onboarding of selected applicants in conjunction with Occupational Health and Security as necessary. My customer service skill set is what I consider to be my strongest skill in my current position. I work with all requests in a timely fashion and try to give my customer, whether internal or external, the best customer service I can offer, or direct them to who can.

HR Liason for the Park. Hiring Manager for Park: I help create position descriptions and submit them for classification, help create Job Analysis and Assessment Questionnaires, submit hiring packages on USAStaffing and local distribution networks. Assist Selecting Officials with choosing alternative Hiring Authorities. Create Local Hire announcements. Manage on-boarding in USAStaffing and through Local Hire channels. Receive applications and handle PII. EOD Applicants. This is my current primary role in my position and I am the POC for the park. Property & Aquisitions - FBMS: (Training includes Accounts Payable Misc Obligations, Custodial Property Officer, Personal Property Assets ILT, Analysis for OLAP CBT, Aquisitiosn Approver CBT, Master Data: Funds Management) My primary usage of this program is for Non-IPP payments however I have training and hold roles in all of the above listed parts of the program. FPPS Authorizing Official: Input and authorize all actions for the park. Primary Quicktime Timekeeper and park Local Administrator. Primary Travel Arranger for the Park (Concur) and Travel POC. OTCnet Deposit Software: Deposit all checks and currency for the park and help maintain deposit log within span of control. OPMIS & eQIP Background Initiations: Initiate all background investigations and reinvestigations for the park and park POC. PIV/HSPD12: Card Registrar and Activator OWCP & SMIS: Workers Comp Coordinator for Park Uniform Coordinator for Park Park CC POC and Account Manager through Payment Net and JPMorgan Chase sites will be POC for CitiBank when comes online. Current Travel and Purchase Card holder. Other duties include Scheduling, Collection Officer, Reception, Superintendent Support, Filing. Current T2 (MBI) investigation.
