I lead a passionate group of planners and other experts advancing a robust, equitable, and resilient transportation system for the Boston region. I have shaped my career to be focused on improving our transportation system and reversing historic biases and inequities. I am a committed public servant who strives to provide positive, inclusive leadership that facilitates the excellent work of the talented people around me. I have been trained in both transportation planning and city planning, with two Master’s degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology as well as years of experience in transportation planning, project management, and public process and engagement. Before joining the staff to the Boston Region MPO, I served on the board of the MPO while working for the City of Cambridge. Prior to that, I worked for a consulting firm in Boston. I appreciate the value of all of that past experience, all that I have learned from my colleagues, and the people who have supported me in my career.
