My father said not too long ago, when I was just getting started in the business, 'A job is a 9 to 5 business but a business is a full time job'. The baton was passed! And working for and thinking about enhancing food output by making and supplying better inputs was all over my mind. That's what my organization has been doing since 2005. The market for organic food has gotten bigger since and we have grown with it as a small family run enterprise. I studied Biotechnology and Bioinformatics so eventually I can understand the manufacturing and application of the organic fertilizers we produce, and work on adding value to the products and the research which leads to them. The three projects which I completed while in grad school all had a theme in common- Bioprocess for commercial application. Modifying an existing process or product to enhance its efficacy has been at the forefront of my desires. To help my organization, myself and our associates, I'm involved in these roles:- Operating and managing two small plants producing organic fertilizers and animal feed supplements in accordance with national and international organic farming norms- Developing R&D capacities for an eventual national accreditation- Exploring and venturing into markets outside India, providing customised solutions for local needs and regulations- Studying agro-ecology and agronomy of a target region to provide package of practices to be followed using our or related productsOutside of work, I am a part of Rotary club of Aurangabad West, serving as the Treasurer and Director New Generation. Additionally, I'm a member of Young Business Leaders Forum in Aurangabad, which is an initiative by second generation entrepreneurs to connect with each other. Also, I am one of those kids from highschool who's a history lover and reader.
