  The GCC is an independent statutory body established by, and accountable to, Parliament to regulate the chiropractic profession. We protect the health and safety of the public by ensuring high standards of practice in the chiropractic profession. As an Investigator within the Fitness to Practise Directorate, I undertake investigatory work regarding complex professional misconduct cases. My role involves drafting comprehensive case plans, documenting key evidence that needs to be obtained during the course of my investigations, meticulously gathering evidence, conducting witness interviews and taking witness statements, drafting detailed allegations from the evidence obtained during the course of investigations, instructing counsel and expert opinion and undertaking preparatory work ahead of hearing.Additionally, I conduct legal research, contribute to data analysis, and actively engage in service improvement initiatives.
