I'm excited to share my journey, which has been shaped by diverse experiences and a passion for excellence. As an assistant professor and lecturer in nuclear medicine technology at Inaya Medical College, I bring over eight years of invaluable experience in teaching, research, and leadership.My journey began at Al Gahd Colleges, where I served as the Head of the Radiology Department from 2011 to 2015. This pivotal role not only honed my leadership skills but also deepened my understanding of the intricacies of radiology and its vital role in healthcare.Before that, my journey in the field of nuclear medicine commenced at RICK (Radioisotopes Center of Khartoum), where I served as a dedicated nuclear medicine technologist. This hands-on experience provided me with invaluable insights into the practical application of nuclear medicine techniques and technologies.In addition to my practical experience, I possess a diverse skill set encompassing leadership, clinical research, Microsoft Office proficiency, and effective communication. These skills have been instrumental in my ability to mentor students, lead research endeavors, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across various domains.My mission at Inaya Medical College is fueled by a commitment to providing high-quality education and training to the next generation of nuclear medicine technologists. I strive to foster an environment of innovation and excellence, where students are empowered to push the boundaries of knowledge and practice in nuclear medicine.Central to my expertise is PET/CT imaging, a powerful diagnostic tool that I have not only taught extensively but also contributed to through innovative research. My work in standardizing and evaluating PET/CT uptake values in tumors and liver, as published in Radiation Physics and Chemistry in 2022, reflects my dedication to advancing the field.In every endeavor, my goal is to leave a lasting impact on the field of nuclear medicine, inspiring others to pursue excellence and innovation. I aspire to foster collaboration among professionals, facilitating the exchange of ideas and advancements in nuclear medicine technology. Additionally, I seek to mentor aspiring nuclear medicine technologists, guiding them on their journey toward fulfilling careers and making meaningful contributions to healthcare.
