Worked on 2 different FinTech projects. On both I did mostly manual QA, with some automation on the second project.The first one involved the mobile apps (iOS and Android) of a national bank.The second project, a global payment processor, was more complex as it involves proof of testing, multiple sprints iterations, extensive documentation & analysis and strong collaboration and communication between different dev/qa teams. Outside the project, at the testing department level, I got involved in delivering presentations and creating technical documents (guides) for the leadership community. Tools used: Android studio (mainly for logcat), Postman, SQL developer, Linux commands and operations.As a side project, I started my own automation project from scratch with Java, maven, Junit, TestNG, Jenkins.The project is accessible here: https://github.com/TeodoraMilas/AutomationPractice

I’m in charge of QA for projects developed by Decagon:- Define the QA strategy for different projects.- Ensure communication with stakeholders.- Document user stories.- Identify and analyze software failures and report them- Basic knowledge of Java and performance testing: Intellij, Jmeter

Serve as a project QA lead for 8 months. I managed a 5 members software QA team divided in 3 separate sub-teams: API QA team, mobile manual QA team, AQA UI mobile team. Results:- Defined a QA analysis process that ensured better coverage and reduced the time spent in doing analysis and test case design.- Improved the test case design process.- Facilitated communication and transparency within the team.- Created test plans for different purposes: project test plan, regression, non-functional, release test plans.-With each release, I’ve put together a QA retrospective to identify what went wrong and find ways to improve.- Revised existing test cases for completeness, coverage and clarity.- Managed the onboarding process of new members.- Responsible for delegating tasks to the team, prioritized QA tasks, ensuring new features were tested, communication with QA managers regarding resource allocation

- Performing analysis of specifications, test case design, test case execution on different versions of iOS and Android using various mobile devices.- Identified and analyzed software failures and reported them via JIRA, created complete, clear, and easily reproducible JIRA tickets.- Participated in agile specific meetings: stand-ups, Sprint retrospectives, Sprint Planning, Leadership and Grooming meetings etc.- Created, managed, and reported test cases using Jira (Zephyr plugin).- Created QA documentation and resources for use in training.- Basic knowledge of Java and performance testing.Tools: Jira, Zephyr, Charles, Fiddler, Jenkins, Postman, TestFairy, Intellij, SourceTree, Chrome Developer Tools, Fabric - Crashlytics

I’ve created a blog to help me in learning software testing and to get more involved in the community. Since one of the best learning strategies is to teach others what you’re learning, writing about what I was reading helped me in structuring concepts easier (blog is no longer up to date).
