When I'm not designing you can find me: getting my hands dirty doing some gardening, painting my walls, again, building stuff in and around the house, enjoying nature, taking my dog for a walk.Started as an independent designer after my studies in 2008. During this period, I gained a lot of experience in designing for online and offline media and working for a wide range of clients. During my 10+ years as an independent graphic designer, the paths of me and my best friend Job van der Molen (a kickass illustrator) kept crossing. After working together on several projects, we opened a small gallery in the heart of Deventer city. We offered space for creative talent to show and sell their work. We did this for a year and a half, then decided we wanted to focus on creating ourselves.We started beeldbazen, a graphic & illustrative design studio with a fascination for color, shape and visual concepts. With perfect teamwork and a shared creative vision we come up with playful creative solutions. Our strong visual approach is immediately recognizable and moves between commissioned work and art projects. We work for a variety of clients, from small businesses to large companies and organizations. We eat this for breakfast: book and magazine covers, editorial illustrations, posters, campaign work, infographics, data visualization, visual identities, annual reports, icons, murals and paintings.
