Build more effective college readiness supports and supports for a stronger transition between middle school and high school and high school to college, such as: Developing, sharing out, and presenting college retention, leadership development, and community engagement best practices with school-based Partnership employees.Bridging middle and high school college programs through relationships between a-g counselors, college and career counselors, college advisors and school administration within the Partnership’s South LA feeder-pattern schools.Programming college and career events including: college readiness presentations, field trips, family engagement, and Financial Aid/California Dream Act for over 2000 students. NSF funded research study: “All Together Now” project at the Connected Learning Lab, UCI- Conducted interview with youth at after school programs and recreational sites in Orange County and Los Angeles.- Took interview notes and fieldnotes during sites visits and observations.- Cleaned and anonymized research data.- Documented findings in a timely manner on a collective team drive and participated in collaborative sense-making team meetings.- Mentored and supervised undergraduate researchers during site visits.
