Assists Investigator in sleep research studies. Performed informed consents, assisted participants in procedures such as spirometry. With participants randomized to receive therapy I provided support and troubleshooting. Other duties: recruitment calls and calendaring study appointments.

Provided recruitment and data collection with recipients of a Federally funded healthcare training initiative. Completed and uploaded surveys. Limited field tracking with hard to reach participants to locate and provide survey completion. Submitted study incentive processing for participants.

Provided administrative support for system-wide Institutional Review Board (IRB). Oversight of investigator applications for IRB review and processing. Engaged with study staff to resolve application and continuing review approvals.

Assisted in development of internal clinical monitoring processes for investigator initiated studies.

Provided research interviewing data collection with veterans experiencing homelessness and with at-risk transitional age youth. Engaged study participants to complete surveys over the course of one year. Privately funded study was designed to reduce risk behaviors and support participants in securing housing and services.

In Alzheimer’s disease clinical trials, as part of a team, I provided safety and compliance oversight at research sites. Assisted sites to complete documentation of activities and resolution of serious adverse events. Completed site visit reports, pre and post visit letters to site investigators, internal travel reports and others. Attended investigator meetings and other research meetings and internal trainings.

Assisted on investigator initiated clinical trials for cancer therapies. Entered data from patient charts and EMR. Used study calendar to update data as procedures are completed. Entered data using various industry EDC programs. Attended research meetings and trainings.

Provided supervision and training to a small field research staff. Assisted investigator in the start up of the study and study field office. Participated in all staff outreach to participants, and recruitment activities in the community. Tracking and locating of participants in the field by employing techniques such as door knocking and contacting collateral sources to engage subjects. Collection of samples for urinalysis and processing of subject payments. Weekly reporting of study progress to study team.

In longitudinal studies, completed a comprehensive battery of in-home assessments with study volunteers. Edited and scored assessments and followed up with subject payments. Contacted prior study participants for recruitment into current wave as needed.
