I help individuals and organisations achieve their goals to be more effective communicators, and engage new audiences. I work at the intersection of local transport, data, community engagement/learning and journalism, through a variety of roles:1. Leading the design and delivery of the Communicating Analysis programme for the Chief Analyst Division in National Highways, working with Costain, Stantec and Waysphere2. Stakeholder engagement as part of a technical team, to translate between user needs, technical capabilities, and commercial viability (working with Waysphere and Centaur Consulting advising on re-procurement design for Bus Real Time Information systems in Transport for West Midlands and West Yorkshire Combined Authority)3. Design and delivery of content and live engagement activities for conferences and exhibitions (working for Landor LINKS, Hemming Group and Highways UK)4. Creating multimedia content to engage audiences in new / emerging fields (researching and writing the article on 5G in transport for UK5G)Via Root2Being I provide business and communication support for practitioners looking to provide affordable and accessible integrated, holistic healthcare. I believe no-one should suffer chronic illness; it is a choice we make because we don't understand how connected our spiritual, emotional and physical selves really are. Through my own journey to resolve chronic pain, I was fortunate to work with some inspirational practitioners who are leading the way in integrated, holistic healthcare. Experiencing first hand the benefits of this approach, I'm combining my experience and skills to support other practitioners to develop their services in this way.

Vice ChairNational Highways Design Benchmarking Club Oct 2010 - Jun 2011UkIn July 1998 Sir John Egan’s Construction Task Force published the report “Rethinking Construction”, with the clear message that the industry needed to significantly improve and to achieve this would require a radical new approach to the delivery of construction service and product. To monitor the success of these initiatives and to record performance across the supply chain, several proactive organisations identified the need to collect, analyse and benchmark their performance against other organisations within the highways & transportation sector. In 2000 consultation with private sector partners and some Local Authorities, agreements were reached to form two national benchmarking clubs – “The Highway Design and The Highway Works Best Value Benchmarking Clubs”.Having joined the committee in 2009, Teresa played an active role in delivering the changes needed within the Club to increase its value to the members.
