I enjoyed the collaborative process of working with a professional group of editors, designers and writers. Recently I went to my college reunion. I was fortunate enough to run into former students. The thanks they gave to me for being working vector artists, showed me I made a difference in their creative lives.• Led and facilitated a computer Macintosh illustration course.• Developed assignments and implemented grading policy.

I was hired for this position before graduating from college. As the only illustrator in a small graphic department, my job was to look like a staff of ten. It was a great experience to have such a variety of topics and styles to explore.• Responsible for creating all in-house illustrations for varied sections of the newspaper. • Provided a variety of illustration styles, to give the perception of a number of staff illustrators.• Worked with graphic artists to build knowledge of information graphics, charts and map making.• Coordinated closely with editors and layout artists, from concept to design on illustrated projects.• Worked on strict deadlines.
