Assistant Property Manager
CurrentResponsible for assisting with the management of 16 commercial real estate properties. Including shopping centers, office and industrial space.Accountable for handling all maintenance issues both for tenants and for properties in general; including landscaping, exterior lighting, plumbing, HVAC, glass repair, lock changes, paving and roof repairs. Conduct all tenant correspondence via telephone, email, and mail. This includes legal documents, general letters, and default letters. Also required to record all tenant correspondence for company records. Responsible for Request For Proposals for budgeted common area maintenance on all properties; including porter services, landscaping, pressure washing, parking lot sweeping, and repairs, and waste removal. Involved in entire leasing process from production of letter of intent until commencement of lease. This includes request of new tenant applications, running tenant credit checks, typing of all lease documents, requesting space planning, and aid in construction bidding.Produce and send all monthly property management reports to property owners and lenders. This includes a summary of property assessments, receivables, concerns and progress.Produce and edit all company and property marketing materials including leasing brochures, site plans, and on-line updates such as www.loopnet.com and www.co-star.com). This includes audit of broker postings to ensure quality, broker information, photographs, space availability, rates, and demographics.Assistant to Asset Manager and Property Managers, and President. Duties include: answering phones, scheduling of meetings and appointments, typing correspondence and, transcriptions. Responsible for booking all travel for Asset Manager and Property Managers when traveling to out of town properties and to various ICSC conventions.
