I represent the Cameron School of Business, both on and off campus. Primary responsibilities include internship coordination, professional development and employer relations working to serve both undergraduate and graduate populations. • Supervise and manage operations for the CSB Student Professional Development office, a comprehensive educational support office that provides personal career coaching, professional development, internship and career initiatives for approximately 2,000 undergraduate business students, and support for approximately 500 graduate students • Co-advise and manage communications, in conjunction with the Dean’s office, for the CSB Student Advisory Committee comprised of 13 CSB student organizations’ officers• Create and co-advise approximately 80 founding members of CSB Women in Business, a student organization promoting a professional women in business initiative • Key curriculum designer and instructor for an inter-disciplinary required CSB Career Essentials course by combining aspects of existing courses, adding additional professional development initiatives and incorporating an online English co-requisite course to meet writing intensive requirements • Monitor and assess effectiveness of the CSB SPD, to include internship and graduate data with outcome reporting responsibilities internally and externally, resulting in the development of long-term strategies• Create and deliver innovative student engagement programs and services, to include online services that drive acquisition of career-related skills and professional success strategies in business• Implement career coaching strategies, execute career-oriented workshops and large-scale career events for undergraduate students in CSB• Supervise, manage and train Assistant Director, CSB Career Ambassadors, graduate assistants and student workers• Serve as a member of the Cameron Executive Network (CEN) Executive Council, and a university-wide internship committee

The N.C. Back-to-Work Grant is meant to be a short-term training program to prepare North Carolinians who are facing long-term unemployment. The program is short-term and will help those out of work get the skills and credentials they need to begin work immediately.The program consists of career path exploration, planning, education, training, work-life skill training, mentors, job shadowing, internships, on-the-job training and access to permanent job placement with follow-up.-Counseled over 100 students concerning career paths, résumés, and academic support-Compiled documentation and composed NC Community College System quarterly and annual summary reports-Supplement financial aid through the management of the SECU Scholarship Program-Promoted and communicated the NC Back-to-Work program to over 200 potential applicants, in addition to a local public service TV segment

The Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness (IRE) is responsible for the ongoing and systematic processes and practices accomplished with the purpose of improving programs, services, student success and institutional quality.• Coordinated the Curriculum Program Review which assesses the effectiveness, needs, and trends of all curriculum programs to ensure their vitality. • Coordinated all state and federal reports to ensure compliance, accuracy, timely submission and assists with accreditation activities.• Guided ongoing, research-based, institution-wide assessment processes that incorporate a systematic review of the mission, goals, and outcomes of each unit and result in continuing improvement.• Served as liaison between the College and the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools regarding accreditation requirements and compliance.

• Create and manage internship and employment opportunities through employer relations• Counsel students regarding career searches and career materials to include resumes, cover letters and related materials• Conduct 5 workshops for recruiters/business professionals to include topics such as interviewing, professional/business etiquette, and job searches for over 150 students during spring semester of 2008• Teach and manage the content for Strategies for Career Preparedness (LSB class) during the 2007-08, 2008-09 years
