Responsibilities include characterizing and profiling hazardous, non-RCRA, and non-hazardous waste for disposal at appropriate TSDFs, obtaining quotes from TSDFs to minimize disposal costs, creating manifests and all supporting documentation needed for legal shipment of hazardous waste, lab packing chemicals into like classes for safe shipment, regularly utilizing MSDS's to create accurate profiles for disposal facilities, coordinating the response for clients with emergency spill calls, consulting with Generators, the County of San Diego, and California regulators so clients may continue to be in compliance with current County, State, and Federal regulations, as well as supporting office work as needed.

Responsibilities included working with production engineers and supervisors throughout the production phases to maintain and improve production in addition to manufacturing, testing, and evaluating the physical properties of prepreg and laminates in the R&D department for future product development.

SDSU Chemistry Club, Review Lead, Fall 2008 - Fall 2009Duties included running review sessions for 20-50 students for various Chemistry classes as requested by the President of the Chemistry Club before tests and finals for three semesters.

Topic - synthesis and analysis of magic sized fluorescent quantum dotsA variety of endeavors were undertaken including assisting in the streamlining of the HPLC lab procedure used for Prof. Kalyuzhny's Instrumental Methods Laboratory class. The main focus of the research was the dry box synthesis of organometallic quantum dots followed by UV-Vis and fluorescence analysis.
