I am a property expert with over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial property acquisitions, valuations and facilities management across NSW, QLD and the ACT for TransGrid, Transport NSW, the Department of Defence, Sydney Metro, Sydney Water and now the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.I have acquired land for energy, transport, defence and water infrastructure projects under the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991. As Transaction Manager for TransGrid, I acquired easements and land for transmission lines and substations for the NSW and ACT high voltage electricity transmission network. For Transport NSW, I acquired property for the Sydney Metro City & Southwest Project and Western Sydney Airport Project. At Sydney Water I was responsible for the strategic delivery of Sydney Water’s property acquisition program for land and easements, specialising in the Western Sydney growth area. As Associate Director of Infrastructure and Urban Renewal at PwC, I led a team to purchase more than 350,000 ha of land in far North Queensland for the Department of Defence.Within these projects, I managed stakeholder engagement and liaison with infrastructure designers, heritage consultants (including Native Title experts), surveyors, landowners of all property types, city planners, councils and Roads and Maritime Services NSW. I am reliable, self-directed, and demonstrate a high level of initiative and effective decision-making skills, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills. I am detail orientated and I have an exceptional ability to prepare documents, and maintain good relations with partners, clients and staff.

Senior Manager Property - Reconnecting River Country ProgramNsw Department Of Climate Change, Energy, The Environment And Water Jul 2024 - PresentNswThe Reconnecting River Country Program is a key Murray-Darling Basin initiative essential to creating healthier functioning river systems in the Murray and Murrumbidgee valleys.Currently, rivers connect to wetlands and floodplains less often than is needed to maintain healthy ecosystems, due to river regulation and extraction. Water for the environment aims to restore the balance, however constraints restrict the effective use of this water contributing to the continual decline of the health of Country, including the species depending on these environments to survive. The program is proposing to remove constraints to enable the flexible use of water for the environment to increase the frequency and extent rivers connect to their wetlands and floodplains. Removing constraints is critical to achieving the Murray-Darling Basin Plan’s improved environmental outcomes and making best use of existing water recovered from communities. -
