As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst Intern at Cybriant, I am responsible for supporting the detection, analysis, and response to various cyber threats. My role involves monitoring security alerts and analyzing potential security incidents using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools, which allows me to contribute effectively to incident response activities that ensure the security and integrity of organizational systems. I assist in investigating and analyzing security incidents, determining their impact and scope, and collaborating with senior analysts to remediate and mitigate incidents.My responsibilities also include documenting security incidents, findings, and remediation steps in detailed reports, as well as providing regular updates to the SOC team and management. I work closely with other SOC analysts, IT teams, and management to ensure a coordinated and effective response to security incidents. Throughout my internship, I engage in continuous learning to enhance my cybersecurity knowledge and skills, participating in team discussions, exercises, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
