This was using the rational rose tool set.Created Atomic data warehouse models by subject area using the IIW as a model. Also documented the transformation rules from the OLTP data model to the Data warehouse model. This was going to be used for the Party subject area.I developed the direct and the procedures for a tactical solution for collecting Meta data for a project to provide traceability. This involved manually integrating 5 tools (Requisite Pro, DB2, Erwin, Access, SDA repository). This tactical solution was to capture the meta data that was available at the time the object were being created. An example is when the a use case for a process was being written then the data item were capture and information about that data item was recorded in Requisite Pro and tied to the use case. If the data item had already had a definition then the data item was tied to the data dictionary in Access (this was done through an indicator). As the data item was modeled the mappings for the data item was capture. We used the 5 different tools because they were already being used and could be further developed or the data exported and then imported into a meta data solution in the future. Show less
