Terrence maintains Workforce Solutions Texoma's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies. Works with the Executive Director, other managers, and users to identify improved use of technology that will support the mission of the organization. He shapes and prioritize the use of technology in the organization. Manages all maintenance projects (such as hardware upgrades) and strategic projects (such as application selection and development). Serves as the point person for technology in the organization by receiving requests, setting expectations and communicating status. Identifies bottle necks and opportunities to apply a technical solution. Collaborates with the Executive Leadership team, ensures security standards, procedures, and guidelines are followed. Manages user accounts, including adding new users in appropriate applications with proper security applied, deleting users, and updating users with new rights as needed. Maintains integrity of Active Directory. Works with outside vendors, develops and maintain infrastructure (i.e., phones, mobile devices, internet service), and coordinates upgrades and ongoing vendor support. Attends and participates in relevant meeting/training opportunities within the organization and with other agencies.Terrence also serves on a variety of community boards and is involved in many community projects. Terrence also serves on committees for Texas Workforce Commission, in Austin, TX.Terrence has years of experience in a broad range of areas such as: Prevention, Diversity, Youth Involvement, Team Building, Empowerment, Youth/Gang Violence, Church Involvement, Working with Convicts.Terrence is a Desert Storm veteran with 11 years of military service to the U.S. Air Force. He shares his extensive leadership and computer technical skills acquired during his military career with young people of the community in many character-building projects.
