Led the evaluation, restructuring and optimization of the company’s store portfolio and assisted in establishing separate treasury and corporate finance functions as going-concern entities.- Advised GMAC Mortgage on the development and execution of a contingency plan that enabled the company to become the first major mortgage provider to transition through bankruptcy as a going concern; led carve-out of its origination and capital markets platform after the transaction process failed to gain traction; platforms then successfully transitioned to a stand-alone operation in approximately 45 days.- Advised The Children’s Place on carve-out and sale of the Disney Store chain; led recapitalization of its balance sheet, which added $125 million in liquidity in a difficult credit environment.
