CurrentWorking with our development team, local, state, and community partners, responsible for all external engagement activities for Sanctuary House. Established in 2002, Sanctuary House is a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate the recovery and rehabilitation of adults who experience symptoms of mental illness so that they may achieve and sustain satisfying, meaningful roles and lives in our community. The unique setting at Sanctuary House offers opportunities for clients to obtain a higher quality of life and achieve and sustain satisfying social and vocational goals that are vital components in becoming active participants in the community. Programs include: Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Employment Services, Community Based Individual Supports, Day Activity, Residential, Outpatient Clinical Services and Tailored Care Integrated Coordination launched December 2022. In addition, Sanctuary House has an award winning social-entrepreneurial bakery called A Sweet Success! that works with wholesale vendor contracts in addition to retail customers. Partners include: Harris Teeter, Wellspring, Pennybyrn, UNCG, Guilford College, and MANY others.
