Remote QC management for both Inpatient and Outpatient employed AHS coders, 70+ staff for Ardent facilities, 20+ hospitals in 5 geographical markets.Ongoing monthly assessments of QC process to identify needs for internal growth. i.e., (AHS merging with LHP for an additional 5 hospitals the first of 2017-Additional 35% increase in coding staff) Assess new facilities current QC programs and determine best practice and consistency for all 19 hospitals.Remote manage and oversee/review all HAC coded visits, working closely with Quality and Risk department staff for all Ardent facilities.Ensure ongoing coder education carried out based on QC findings and trendsPartnership with the CDI staff for all facilties, working together to ensure Quality of record and accuracy of coding

Remote manage 50+ Inpatient coders to cover 14 facilities in 3 geographical markets (OK, TX, NM) Facility size ranges from 600 bed to 35 bed. Onboarding and offboarding coding staff, to include interview process, working with vendors for contract coverage, budgeting and staffing analysis.Actively participate in weekly Revenue Cycle meetings to discuss meeting Cash and Coding goals.Manage Internal and External MS-DRG AuditingTrained and prepared Inpatient coding staff for ICD-10-CM/PCS. Dual Coding and Payer TestingResponsible for timely responses to audit requests from RAC, MIC, MAC, CERT, ZPIC and other 3rd Party or government agencies.
