When one places their child in the care of another human being they are not only handing over their heart but they are trusting that individual will care for that heart the same way they would. In the ideal world we would want to live in, we could all find that special place for our child, our heart AND ideally, we could all afford the best of the best. That is not the situation for all families, not all families can afford the best of the best. That does not mean that there should not be access afforded these families the same as all families. This is my passion, this is my drive. Assisting all families in need with access and affordability of quality early childhood care regardless of socio-economic status.I am currently doing this with Boulder County's Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) where I have spent the last few years building relationships with families, child care providers and community partners. My previous professional experience and education has lead me on this path and my continuous learning and growth will keep me driving on that path to serve families in the early childhood arena.
