I was basically the person who made sure things that needed to happen happened -- meaning, I coordinated with writers, made sure shoots were on time, editorial and production schedule was on track. I was also in charge of the flatplan and coordinated with advertising on ad placement as well as helped make sure the stories flowed within the magazine. On top of this, I also wrote articles and copy edited the stories before they get to the editor in chief and publisher.

I ran the day to day operations of the magazine. Basic tasks included helping with the editorial lineup, crafting the flatplan, assigning stories to writers, as well as following up on their progress. I also had my own writing assignments and edited all the articles before the editor in chief gets to the see them.
