I work on a tight-knit software team which specializes in image processing and binary obfuscation software development.

I designed, built, tested, and presented a system which used AWS to download, organize, and manage terabytes of image data for false positive testing. The system I developed used Ansible to provision up to 100 EC2 instances. Additionally, I performed security evaluations on obfuscated binaries using IDA Pro and Ghidra. I used both static and dynamic analysis to determine how difficult it would be to reverse engineer the protected binaries.

I worked on front-end web development in AngularJS and testing/verification for the first four and a half months of my internship. I developed the first series of unit tests for the project and wrote and executed tests during system testing. On completion of the development project, I began work on a small research project to determine (1) what information can be extracted from an unprotected, internet connected 3D printer, and (2) if a scan could be written to find and identify these 3D printers.

I worked on a Scrum team performing regression testing, running performance tests, and reviewing/writing technical documentation for a brand new product management software solution. During my testing, I also worked with Solidworks to create parts and assemblies to test with.

I used MPLAB X IDE to program a PIC24FJ128GA010 microprocessor and tested my code using an oscilloscope. Additionally, I wrote a parser for GPS NMEA messages and implemented UART communication a GPS unit and the PIC24.
