Teresa M. Morgan, NCIDQ, Texas Registered Interior Designer, or Terri, as her friends call her, began her interior design career when the younger of her two sons started preschool. She obtained her B.F.A. of Interior Design, passed the NCIDQ exam for professional interior designers, and became involved in the interior design community as a participant, and in leadership roles. Since then, she has built a portfolio that ranges from high-end residential and commercial projects to a wide range of residential and commercial window covering specification projects.Teresa has won interior design awards in Design Ovation, a Dallas Design Community awards competition, and in Legacy of Design, a state wide design competition. Both competitions are for members of the Texas Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers.Instead of developing her own signature look, Teresa works to translate her clients’ preferences into well-designed spaces that suit the clients’ personal tastes. After that, the rest, as she says, is just gravy!​Teresa has been a PROFESSIONAL member of the Texas Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers. She served in the role as the Texas Chapter Directory Chair from 2014-2017, then advancing to Communications Director for the Texas Chapter from 2017 - 2019. She is also involved with local interior design groups who support each other and the interior design industry. Teresa continues to learn about changes and trends in the industry through continuing education opportunities so that her clients benefit from her knowledge, experience, and skills.
