Senior Database Administrator
Current• Support MS SQL Servers and MongoDB systems• Perform database administration including backup & restore, HA, audits, capacity planning, and etc • Enhance and harden monitoring & alerting systems for DB systems• Diagnose problem areas and provide workable solutions to resolve issues• Automate repetitive deployment and maintenance tasks• Maintain a complete database CI/CD workflow with GitHub and Jenkins• Automate support workflows and implement ticketing systems for tracking and SLA compliance withtools such as Slack and Jira• Integrate systems and data using ETL techniques to create data repositories for information reportingand tracking• Continually improve system documentation, perform system assessments and report results• Conduct technical knowledge sharing and provide guidance to team members• Maintain compliance with regular database patching or upgrades• Optimize database environments including query performance and index tuning• Analyze environments and recommend modifications to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance• Collaborates with team members and developers to design, implement and test systems
