Provide financial support and analysis to the production & distribution area of the supply chain. Support the plant management teams ensuring accuracy of financial reporting, as well as identifying and delivering on key business opportunities. Partner directly with Division Operations Manager and Regional Finance Manager to drive better operation, financial and commercial results. Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of financial statements, weekly forecasts, annual budgets and analysis for all manufacturing related activities for five US production facilities. Perform actual/budget/plan variance analysis on production labor, material usage, and spend variance and submits reports directly to plant management for appropriate action. Provide direct support to Directors of Finance and the BU finance team.

Partner with Quality Manager to drive plant Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma/Continues process improvement initiatives. Initiated spending variance (material usage & purchase price variance) correction activities through regular meetings with manufacturing operations management. Provided plant management team with financial analysis in support of productivity and cost savings initiatives and the impact that sales & production volumes have on inventory absorption. Developed plant annual budget and monthly 3-month rolling forecast. Prepared various business performance metrics for corporate reporting. Analyzed and reported monthly financial results. Prepared and review plant capital spending request for injection mold refurbishments and other projects including IRR & NPV analysis. Developed and directed plant management at the Orlando & Tampa plants through cost/benefit analysis and other financial initiatives. Developed plant budget and periodic forecast. Coordinated month end closing activities and prepared account analysis and reconciliations. Collaborated with Corporate Finance to ensure that adequate internal controls were in place to secure company assets and assure compliance with corporate policy.
