• Check and release all adviser charges on the back office system.• Process all direct client fees.• Create all expectations for on-going commission.• Handle all the credit control functions (including regular meetings with the advisers).• Deal with nearly all remuneration queries and also match all revenue to the back office system.• Deal with all new terms of business with providers, and have also been involved in repapering exercises with clients.• Projects that require a more focused hand on approach particularly in respect of the pension auto enrolment (AE) issues.• Administration of setting up a new AE scheme which involves obtaining the relevant documents for all members (including illustrations and transfer forms) and then in conjunction with the employer ensuring all relevant members of staff receive this documentation. Updating records are creation of new staff members/plans on our back office system (Iress).

The main areas of this role are processing of remuneration payments (Using the Iress System), credit control, quality checks, Management and regulatory reports (using the Iress system, The Tam System and Excel), accrual and dividend calculations, client invoicing, providing guidance to consultant and consultant support staff in relation to Adviser Charging and VAT implications, processing of month end, monitor and update of internal forms, design, evaluate and update training for consultant and consultant support staff in relation to Adviser Charging, assistance with the company annual audit, which would usually mean being available for a week to talk through various cases and queries with the auditor. I have also been heavily involved in segmentation and recurring income exercises.I also provided facilities support to the office manager, and have been involved in a review to change the back office system (possible to Intelliflo)I also spent time on the administration team and dealt with many of the day to day tasks, including processing of new business, obtaining valuations and dealing with client and provider queries (phone/e-mail and post), trust review reports, review packs. I also dealt with the administration of various group schemes, as my skills developed, my role developed to take me away from the administration side and move towards supporting the management team, however I still complete many administration tasks.
