: Monitor the company infrastructure via ArcSight which aggregates security events from IDS, firewalls and antivirus to detect both internal and external illicit activity. Analyze and evaluate events, remediate and/or escalate events representing actual threats. Record the details of all intrusion attempts in order to enable trend threat analysis to be carried out. Implement periodic vulnerability scans of the network infrastructure using Qualys vulnerability scanner and alert the object owners of vulnerability threats.

:Design and manage the new process of monitoringsuper user activity to detect misuse of access rights in accordance with the SOX DS 5.7 requirement across Windows,Unix,AS400 and Mainframe platforms. Run daily scans of all four platforms using Arcsight and cross check super user activity with CA Unicenter to establish procedural compliance. Investigate instances where authorisation has not been found and resolve or escalate these issues where applicable.
