National Geographic Educator Certification Program Cohort Leader. In 2014, began working for National Geographic to provide steering committee support for a new program called Geo-Educators, which grew into the broader-based Educator Certification program. University Teaching: Associate professor, teacher education: methods courses promote global, project-based learning using technology. Courses taught: Science methods, social studies methods, educational/assistive technology, Teaching with a Global Perspective, and early childhood social studies, Diversity in the Classroom & Classroom Management.
