• Maintains multiple databases within the department for the capture and analysis of data. These include the non-conformance, corrective/preventive action, and calibrations databases. Utilize statistical techniques to analyze and report results to management in order to drive productivity, cost savings, and increase quality of product. • Develops, initiates, and implements standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation to ensure product meets specifications as outlined by engineering documentation and customer requirements. • Assist in reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements; including vendor quality manuals and company quality records. • Maintains calibrations program in accordance with company and applicable ISO Standards. This includes maintaining organizations class I, class II, and class IV standards; performing calibrations operations on calipers, micrometers, scales, and other typical hand gauges. Ensure company departments maintain assigned M&TE properly, maintaining frequency and periodicity to established calibrations schedules.• Communicates significant issues to developments identified during quality activities and contributes to resultant process improvement projects. • Performs regular oversight acuities to ensure compliance to ISO 9001:2008 standards, engineering documents, and customer requirements. Perform visual inspections and dimensional inspections utilizing hand gauges. • Ability to perform other duties as may be assigned.

< Plans and leads preparation for new merchandise on the sales floor, truck unload, freight flow, display assembly, ticketing and stocking tasks for the freight team.< Provides clear work direction, training, and coaching to freight team members regarding freight flow process and furniture assembly. < Analyze and evaluates staffing and scheduling needs for all freight flow processes based on projected carton counts and payroll allocation on a weekly basis.< Tracks, calculates, and reports freight productivity metrics within the store on a weekly basis.< Provides feedback to store leadership regarding the team's performance and ability to meet freight metrics.< Responsible for stockroom organization and cleanliness, including back stock control. < Prepares for upcoming merchandising efforts and reconciles all inventory transactions in conjunction with store merchandising leadership. < Services in the Manager on Duty roles as needed including opening and closing the store. When serving in this role, provides leadership and direction to floor associates and ensures that store merchandising and customer service standards are continuously met, including merchandise presentation, signage, recovery and cleanliness. Drives the customer experience and ensures resolution of customer issues.
