Seeking a position as a Logistics Manager specializing in Warehouse Management and Quality Management Systems which will use my background and ability to successfully manage operations, production and personnel.

Appointed as the primary Program Manager of the Customs Borders Clearance Agent Program (CBCAP) for the Naples Personal Property Shipping Office. Responsible for training, evaluating and ensuring that all customs requirements were complied with for personal property shipments to the United States. Conducted over 600 CBCAP inspections annually. Designated as the CBCAP Customs Stamp Custodian responsible for the use, security and accountability of CBCAP Customs certification stamps.Conducted inspections of personal property shipping containers to ensure compliance with USDA importation requirements. Inspected 100% of High risk and over 50% low risk house hold goods shipments as required to prevent introduction of agriculture pests and disease into United States. Inspected Transportation Service Providers (TSP) packing procedures of personal property belonging to DOD personnel for quality and compliance of applicable performance work statements under the Defense Personal Property System (DPS).Nominated as the Contacting Officers Representative (COR) for the Naples Personal Property Shipping Office Direct Procurement Method (DPM) contract providing support for the shipping and storage of DOD personnel personal property. Responsibilities included ensuring compliance of the DPM contract in accordance with the performance work statement. Duties as COR included inspection of facilities, quality assurance and invoice verification for a 5 year contract worth $750,000 per year.Provided quality control oversight in preventing contraband and other unauthorized items from being packed/shipped in DOD personnel personal property shipments. Ensured that five TSP agents provided functions agreed upon by service agreements IAW DPS, Joint Travel regulation and the Defense Travel Regulation. Assured shipments were packed and protected in accordance with current regulations, noting any violations had corrective actions taken to preclude any future violations.

* Implemented the Aviation Suppliers Associations quality standard, ASA100, and successfully passed the ASA100 accreditation Audit with no major non-conformities noted. * Appointed as the ISO 9001:2008 Management Representative responsible for implementing and managing the organization’s Quality Management System(QMS). Managed QMS functions including Corrective/Preventive Actions, Document Control and Internal Audit management to maintain compliance with the ISO 9001:2008 Standard. Direct quality improvement projects utilizing LEAN principles in line with the company quality policy of continual improvement and customer satisfaction. * Revised the Quality Management System to upgrade the current scope of registration in transition to the revised ISO 9001:2008 standard. Successfully accomplished the new standard certification by passing the initial third party audit with any major non-conformities noted. * Supervise, direct, and analyze logistical support activities in support of customer order fulfillment. Plan, develop and implement long and short-range logistics projects. * Designed and implemented the company’s ISO 9001:2000 quality management compliance and certification program within 4 months of commencement. Logistics Manager for Bank of America overseas U.S. military banking facilities supporting 64 locations in Germany, Netherlands, England and Iceland. Provided logistical support for the banking facillities including material purchasing, servicing and transportation support. Supervised a 10 person logistics department responsible for soliciting, awarding and administering over 1200 annual purchase orders and contracts in excess of $12,000,000. * Supervised, directed, and analyzed logistical support activities of managers and administrators in purchasing, supply, facility and equipment maintenance, transportation, printing services, records retention, and warehouse operations.* Led key initiatives to reduce costs and improved operations through streamlining personnel responsibilities and eliminating wasteful logistics operations.

* Successfully managed several contract work locations throughout Germany providing contract maintenance to the United States Military. * Instrumental in successfully bidding on government contracts valued at over $20 million through comprehensive marketing and sales proposals. * Three years of comprehensive experience with FARS, DFARS contracting regulations, processes, and procedures. Coordinated and managed the rail shipment of 1500 pieces of equipment from Germany to Bosnia during the Unit’s deployment in support of KFOR peacekeeping operations. During this deployment, managed the maintenance of the Brigade’s equipment at three locations under austere conditions and successfully maintained at or above the required readiness rating of 90%.
