Aloha from Hawaii~~I'm Terry Lamb, Artist/ Illustrator/ Designer and Creative Director born in Indiana, grew up in SoCal and currently in beautiful Hawaii~~I've been drawing since a kid~~ in High School I won Top Honors & the National Scholarship in Art 1967. I chose Chounairds/ Cal Arts LA; afterwards moving to Laguna Beach (1st Show @ Mystic Arts). Later I moved down to Encinitas, CA. where my Illustration for Rolling Stone (Mike Salisbury was AD) won the Silver Medal in GRAPHIS Annual 1974(?) and art for Psychology Today/ CRM College Textbooks.John Milieus hired me to design/ storyboard "Big Wednesday". I moved to Malibu, CA to work Freelance and 25+ years with Salisbury Communications, from "Joe Camel" to designing Movie Posters ("ALIENS", "To Live & Die in LA", "Working Girl", "The Cable Guy", "Basic Instinct", etc.), GOTCHA Sportswear Ads. I did Logos for POLYGRAM Music, Dreamland Records, HASBRO and MOTOWN Productions (MOTOWN 25, NightLife, "The Last Dragon", etc.), "The Pirate Movie", Made in the Shade Jeans (CLIO Award), LEVI's Posters, David Bowie, Stevie Wonder, Doobie Brothers Posters (Portal Publications), L'Express Restaurant, Kirin Beer (Label), Trailers for Spielberg/ Donner "GOONIES", Disneyland 50th Anniversary. I moved to Hawaii to be Creative Director of CRAZY SHIRTS HAWAII and later Co-Creative AD w/ Sellers Advertising (DUKE's Logo), Book Covers for David H. Childress, Triple Crown of Surfing Poster, Surfing magazine covers. I put together a huge "The Art of Surfing" exhibition at then Turtle Bay Hilton Resort featuring the best Artists/ Photographers like Wyland, Lassen, Griffin, Ogden, etcI also Scripted and Designed "ALOHA, POI DOG", an Animated Feature Film/ TV show about Hawaiian History, Surfing and the call to Save Our Oceans/ Planet/ Selves.Lately I've been trying to collect/ renew some of my favorite "Classic" paintings on canvas and create a brand-new chapter with fresh Images, loving the Islands on the beaches of Makaha, westside Oahu, Hawaii~~I welcome the chance to work on new Projects and look forward to doing my best Artwork ever~~Mahalo!!!
