Designed and created new hotel brochure and catering & events guide. Was on-track for total sales revenues increasing over all of 2019 by over $1.7M, prior to COVID-19 outbreak. Hired and trained catering staff, convention center setup attendants, and sales support. Implemented procedures and control programs within the convention center which decreased expenses by over 50%. Been very successful in bringing groups and events back that had left in years past due to poor service, pricing, and/or quality issues. Have installed the principles of hospitality into the operation. For 15 months, singlehandedly (as in the only employee) operated the convention center during the pandemic; booking small groups, setting up and tearing down rooms, servicing clients with outside food options, removing garbage, cleaning and sanitizing each room, organizing storerooms and linen inventories.
