The National Centre for the Performing Arts is a dynamic new icon to the arts in the heart of Beijing. The NCPA is far more than a spectacular and futuristic building. It is China’s new face on the performing arts and a stage for the world’s greatest artists. It showcases China’s burgeoning international stars and celebrate the creativity of its many ethnic cultures. Stage managers typically provide practical and organizational support to the director, actors, designers, stage crew and technicians throughout the production process and also are the director's representative during performances, making sure that the production runs smoothly.Responsibilities typically including:• setting up and running rehearsal schedules• procuring all props, furniture and set dressings, and in small companies, assisting in set construction• arranging costume and wig fittings• distributing information to other theatre departments• managing the props and possibly the design budgets and liaising with the production manager regarding costs• supervising the 'get in' to the theatre, when the set, lighting and sound are installed, and the 'get out', when all the equipment is removed• compiling and operating prompt copy - also known as the 'prompt script' or 'the book', which notes actors' moves and cues, and the requirements for props, lighting and sound• making alterations to the set between scene changes, prompting actors and cueing technicians• ensuring the company's welfare and maintaining a good working knowledge of all relevant health and safety legislation and good working practice• running the backstage and onstage areas during performances• liaising with the director, stage personnel and other technical departments, e.g. costume, lighting, sound• calling actors for rehearsals and performances• during a long run, maintaining and replacing props and costumes as requiredliaising with resident staff at other performance venues (if touring).

Individual Fundraising Internship• Conducted 10,000 mile running program (donated $1 or more per mile) in Boston University Community, raised money from people who attended this program • Worked with special events intern, recruited volunteers, and assisted founder to prepared special event which hold in Coolidge corner, raised $1304• Collected and updated donors information in database

• Collected and identified donors’ current status, then updated donors’ information, and maintained database • Conducted bad mail program (take care of returned mail, contacted donor by email and phone call then updated information on database, then re-sent the returned mail), and assisted Operations Coordinator with direct mail program• Using Google map layers function, created and developed a detailed map for 43 hotels (divided four parts according to their zip code) in Boston area, these hotels helped us to promoting our program• Conducted their library program, created a detailed and high quality Excel Sheet for all their books in library, and reordered the sequence for library• Worked with the marketing intern, assisted Operations Coordinator with ‘new website’ program, moved all the materials from old website to the new one, and re-designed the new website• Supported daily operation, assisted Operations Coordinator prepared a special event which hold by Boston University College of Fine Arts
