CurrentDeputy Manager Travel contracted by the US Agency for International Development. Responsible for arranging travel in the E2 System within Federal guidelines. Organizes all relocations and TDY’s, including approving payments to employees or credit card vendors based on determined entitlement and reliable reimbursements. Verifies amounts due to vendors, and reasonableness of costs. Researches travel history for reporting and analytical reports used for financial audits, and tax compliance. Responsible for liaising with employees and OCONUS embassies to prepare appropriate traveler documents, including VISAs. Tracks travel budget as determined by the agency guidelines, Federal regulations, policies and procedures. Updates and tracks fund allocations for all travel types.
