Studying Applied Computer Science while completing my degree in Occupational Safety & Health is a key factor that shaped my career. Working in safety management for large corporations, I used database software to detect accident trends, identify operations with disproportionate loss rates, develop insurance allocation models, and design custom analytics to guide accident prevention and risk financing decisions. As a carrier risk control consultant, I created internal management tracking and client group profitability models.My current appointment evolved from creating and leading a client-oriented technology service initiative, to my present position as a Senior Actuarial and Analytics Consultant, where I quantify clients' Total Cost of Risk (TCOR) for balance sheet/income statement reporting and risk financing decision support.
