Some of these partnerships included introducing the City’s Smart Meters in customer’s homes, traffic cameras placed throughout the city in high traffic areas utilizing cable modems, bulk and fiber transfers from Florida Lottery, Florida Emergency Operations Center, Public Service Commission, video transports form State Capitol to PBS uplink, and multiple data transports to include Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Academy to Tallahassee Community College. • Responsible for management of entire Technical Operations Budget for the Florida Panhandle including capital and expense totaling yearly highs of 20 M. • Successful deployment of Project Cavalry in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama Panhandle markets by eliminating all analog services and deploying digital boxes in 145,000 homes while meeting all established deadlines within budget.• Successfully launched Skype, Anyplay and Xfinity Home alarms in all markets.• Successfully managed Construction of New Build projects totaling 50 miles of new plant annually with a budget of 1.5M.• Moved Market Health in 2012 from 73% of nodes below a score of 15 to a current 94.6% below 15.

• Strategic and tactical responsibility for all aspects of the technical and plant operations for Tallahassee and surrounding areas, providing services to 77,000 customers with distribution covering 2,149 miles. Implemented system standards resulting in most improved reduction in service call rate in the Comcast Southeast Region from 1998 to 1999, with 15% improvement; lowest TOE (time off equivalent) for outages in Region for three consecutive years; and ten percent improvement in Quality Assessment from 1998-1999.• Direct and manage all aspects of system operations including installation, maintenance, service, dispatch, technical, and contract labor.• Completion of 110 mile rebuild of Quincy system to 450 MHz including nodal deployment and 15 mile, $200,000 interconnect• Finalization of $30 million rebuild project, upgrading over 1,600 miles of plant • Develop, monitor and control capital and expense budgets in excess of $6 million• Responsible for system design and engineering, system upgrades and implementation of new technologies• Oversee network operations related to Bay Networks high speed cable modems and ATM circuits• Oversee installation and maintenance of all head-end components including TVRO, Digicyphers, modulators, processors, EAS system, digital ad-insertion gear; opti-electronics, fiber cross connects, and addressable controller and scramblers• Direct and control construction, rebuild and maintenance of 2,149 miles of hybrid fiber coaxial plant• Direct personnel functions for 71 employees including training, mentoring, career development, and performance appraisals
