• I’m an Engineering Operations Engineer with experience in Tier 4 datacentre installations for NYSE Euronext. I was involved in the construction of another Tier 4 Datacentre for NYSE Euronext.
• 24/7 Engineering helpdesk and technical cover for the European arm of their operation covering France, Holland, Spain & Portugal.
• Controlled all aspects of the day to day engineering operations at Cannon Bridge site including shift & maintenance personnel, plant operation and maintenance, external contractors and emergency response.
• Duty AP responsible for applying statutory Safe Systems of Work.
• Fire alarm and PA systems were controlled and maintained from the OCC.
• Responsible for First Aid cover, equipment and supplies for London Offices.

• Worked as a contract electrician for installation contractor, NYSE management chose me, after a short period to ensure quality of Data installations and from this offered me a post in their London HQ Operational.
• Installation work on Tier 4 datacentre, consisting of 5 Independent N+N halls with blast protection in a exterior shell with office and Stores facilities.
• Equipment installed: LV generators & switchgear, LV/HV step up transformers, multiple 11kV rings, LV rings, multiple hybrid UPS systems, STS equipped main Distribution boards, Chillers and associated pumps, Split and.
• Ancillary data cabling support installations.
