I summarize my life as "1,2,3" - one wonderful wife, two jobs since college, and three terrific kids. Since this is LinkedIn, I'll focus on my work career and my roles at Deloitte Consulting and American Management Systems, Inc. (AMS).After 35 years in public sector consulting, especially in the areas of ERP, human services systems, and integrated tax and revenue systems, I retired as a technology principal of Deloitte Consulting on June 2, 2018. I had leadership positions as the first vice president of the $300M public sector ERP service line at American Management System, Inc. (AMS), vice president of the $100M state and local government central region at AMS, leader of the public sector financial and administrative systems practice at Deloitte Consulting, and the Deloitte Consulting lead consulting principal for the State of Illinois. My many projects include leadership roles in the statewide financial systems for the states of New York (PeopleSoft) and Illinois (SAP), the integrated eligibility system for the State of Illinois, and the development of Advantage HCM 3.x.I was a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and earned the Certificate in Management Accounting (CMA).I currently spend some of my time volunteering to help high school students apply to college and small firms position themselves for profitable growth.
