Oversee all United States manufacturing and compliance related activities across four production facilities, three showrooms (and growing), all of which span four different countries. These activities may include, but are not limited to:-Production planning including build process, order, staffing, etc.-Continual research into each component of each model to assure 100% compliance with all applicable standards and organizations.-Planning and execution of logistics required to transport units from manufacturing facility to showrooms or coordinating unit component sourcing across three continents.-Research, planning, and implementation of product changes including new features.As a new manufacturer in the United States, organizing the production processes required for full capacity has been an ongoing and major task. From designing a production floor flow to creation of a stock/inventory of parts required to build, many tasks revolve around this new facility and new production creation.

Responsible for the conversion of two camper and caravan brands from Australian design to United States design. This conversion largely focused on achieving full FMVSS/NHTSA, RVIA, NATM, PWA, etc. compliance. As such, items such as lamps/reflectors or plumbing are daily tasks while off-unit tasks such as designing a quality control system and process are also tackled daily.Further daily tasks are non-regulatory items such as American English usage and features unique to the United States and/or not used in Australia such as winterization or winter capabilities.

Oversees all technical programs of the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers while working directly with the Executive Director to evaluate regulatory and technical issues that are applicable to the light- and medium-duty trailer industry.•Oversees the policies, procedures, and carrying out of the Compliance Verification Program, including the work of NATM Compliance Consultants, and ensures all staff are educated and acting in accordance with those requirements.•Schedules and performs on-site compliance consultations for member companies (trailer manufacturers) in accordance with NATM policies and procedures.•Provides consultation follow-up and technical support for members as needed and as prescribed in relevant procedures and policies. •Ensures the administrative requirements of the Compliance Verification Program are being met. •Monitors the Compliance Budget to ensure all compliance staff are conforming appropriately, and regularly looks for ways to minimize costs. •Investigates and follows up on non-compliance reports from consumers and/or other members of NATM.•Oversees the Technical Committees and any technical-related special projects.•Provides accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly compliance updates to the Executive Director. •Reviews and keeps current on new laws and regulations affecting NATM.•Conducts presentations to the NATM Board of Directors, Committees, members and various industry related organizations.•Represents NATM at various trade shows, conventions and seminars.•Contribute articles for the NATM magazine Tracks, on technical and compliance issues.•Develops and coordinates project plans on time and budget and communicates changes and progress to NATM. Manages project team activities.•Acts as Technical Manager as outlined in ISO 17020:2012 and as such, has the authority to sign off on compliance consultations.

Oversees the running of the Compliance Verification Program, including conducting compliance verification consultations for trailer manufacturers to verify members have the manufacturing processes in place to manufacture trailers in compliance with the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers Guidelines. This position also has the responsibility of assisting members in correcting any compliance deficiencies. The Compliance Director will oversee the work of NATM Compliance Consultants.

Conducts compliance verification consultations for trailer manufacturers to verify members have the manufacturing processes in place to manufacture trailers in compliance with the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers Guidelines. Also, hold the responsibility of assisting members in correcting any compliance deficiencies.• Schedules and performs on-site visits to member companies (trailer manufacturers) throughout the United States and Canada to inspect products and processes for compliance with all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and industry practices as detailed in the NATM Guidelines. • Completes all consultation reports.• Follows-up on any non-compliance issues reviews all documentation of the corrective actions to verify compliance. Prepares and provides members a letter of compliance.• Follows-up on all consultations when corrective action has not been submitted within the time frames prescribed by NATM’s Compliance Procedure. Assists members with questions on compliance issues and encourage corrective actions necessary for compliance.• Review and keep current on new laws and regulations affecting the industry.• Attends educational seminars, workshops, and conventions related to the trailer industry.• Provides accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly compliance updates.• Acts as Technical Manager as outlined in ISO 17020:2012 and as such, has the authority to sign off on compliance consultations. *Successfully designed and implemented the transition from 100% paper-based processes to100% electronic-based processes. *Certified to conduct the National Marine Manufacturers Association inspections
