I oversee the five million dollar ordering and issuing of materials to jobs involving over 2500 inventory items required for our Distribution/Transmission lineman and other departments to complete their work. I am also actively a part of directing the trucks, forklift operations, traffic control flagging and assisting the line crews when being called out for after hours work.My 39 years of work at Chelan County P.U.D. includes thirty four years as part of the procurement and stores department.   I serve as foreman for Wenatchee, Leavenworth and Chelan electrical warehouses and their employees. I oversee all ordering for the materials provided for the departments and it's customers. I also direct the work for the five Materials Specialists I manage. The Materials Department is responsible for shipping and receiving, internal cycle counting of inventory and internal and external audits.
