Turnkey project delivery for new customers of Turn-Mill CNC machinery, from setup and customer acceptance at factory location in Germany to application development and support with customer engineers at UK customer sites.

Continued technical role at a more senior level in the applications team. Managing support platform with key customers, continued hands on development of customer applications for 5 axis machining centres.

Technical role involved in after sales delivery of high performance 5 axis machining centres. Directly related to project win for Rolls Royce jet engine disc manufacturing facilities and played key role in application support role for installation of many new 5 axis mill-turn machining centres. Role included process development, programming, delivering customer training and developing a bespoke suite of parametrically programmed in process gauging functionalities to ensure accuracy and control for high value production applications.

Operating and programming of machining centres to support AMRC research activity. From drawing fixturing and machining of one off components. Became involved in Rolls Royce project targeting overhaul of UK disc manufacturing facilities and processes. Started study with Open University to achieve BEng degree.

Part of Engineering apprenticeship programme and achieved a good grounding in CNC machining. Operating and programming of a range of machining centres and turning centres for orthopaedic production machining. Developed interest in continuous improvement of production processes and machine tool technologies. Studied at Sheffield and Rotherham colleges on day release up to completing HNC in Manufacturing Engineering.
