As the event promotions intern, I completed a variety of tasks dealing with library events every day. These tasks included promoting events through social media posts, updating event calendars, and event set up and execution. I also regularly contributed to brainstorming sessions for campaigns and special library projects and appeared in live streams. During this internship, I gained skills in photography, Adobe Creative Suite, social media writing and more.

During my time at BLUSOURCE, I had the opportunity to learn about business, sales and communications. This was achieved through customer relations, process improvement and special projects. My daily tasks included creating sales proposals and quotes, providing customer service via phone and email, responding to general inquiries and requests for information, and logging all communications and contact with customers in a customer relationship management system. During this internship, I was able to gain practical information and skills that will transfer to a future career.
