My job is sales development and outreach. I focus on generating new business opportunities for the company by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. I am also responsible for creating and managing leads through the sales pipeline to prospective clients who are interested in integrating accessibility products into their business.

In this role, I wrote original content that was published on the Allyable website. I focused mainly on search engine optimization, marketing, and digital sales strategies. I did this by writing informative and engaging articles to help Allyable showcase their tools and products. My job was to create the best possible written or visual content, from blog posts to press releases. I also assisted with editing content in the form of RFP’s, social media posts, and other inter-office communications for the company.

I have many roles in this office, which include, but are not limited to: Casework for the communities of Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Mar Vista, and West LA, through the use of the CP Connect system (formerly known as Romulus). Managing all building operations for the West LA Municipal Building, including mail delivery to all offices, facilitating General Services Department Requests, and renting out the Public Hearing and conference rooms. As a Caseworker for a Member of Congress, I helped facilitate all communications between constituents and any Federal Agency they may be having an issue with. I was solely responsible for all Veterans Affairs and U.S. Bureau of Prisons issues in the District. In addition to those specific agencies, I oversaw the communities of North Long Beach, San Pedro, Wilmington, and Carson as it pertains to any other casework matters.I staffed and attended events in areas of the District which I covered.I submited inquiries on behalf of constituents who are having issues with certain Federal Agencies.I managed our casework data entry system, Fireside, where we input all communications between ourselves and the constituents.I assisted with creating all templates for our District Office casework needs.I compiled brieifng memos and talking points for the Congresswoman at events.I compiled the weekly District Dashboard and send it to our counterparts in D.C.I organized and planned events for the office where I am often in charge of the registration table and set up. An event that I single-handedly championed for our office is the Veterans Welcome Home Event, which strives to connect Veterans to other Veterans as well as services in their community.

My task while I was interning at the LWVLA was to compile a comprehensive report on human trafficking for the entire state of California, which was later published on their national Clearinghouse website. I also assisted with other daily office activities as well as with with outreach and fundraising for our events.
