Designs, delivers and scales a complex and impactful set of 6 evidence-based programs with education at their core. Programs serve under resourced contexts, are community led and designed to be sustainable, building the capacity of children, youth and invested adults. Programs are focused on promoting quality education, health, social justice, empowerment, leadership, food security and improved livelihoods. See projects section for details on key deliverables and outcomes. Manages programs from the pilot stage through to scaling and graduation where appropriate. Each successful pilot has attracted hundreds of thousands of additional dollars and strategic partnerships, which have led to scale up and larger impact, positioning the organization for continued growth. Programs have directly benefitted thousands of children, youth, adults and families.Serves as the key point person for building and maintaining multiple internal and external stakeholders, and strategic implementing partners around the world and throughout the US. Works in collaboration with partners including funders, local and national government agencies, small and large nonprofit partners, community-based organizations, universities and more. Managed the organization’s Ugandan branch into self-sustainability, building their capacity around operations, financial management, human resource management, attracting local grants and diversifying funding streams, gaining further financial independence from the US based organization.Serves as a member of the executive team, working in direct collaboration with the founder, executive director and reporting to the board, co-facilitating the development of multi-year strategic plans for optimal impact. Oversees a diverse and global team of 20, leading them to the achievement of ambitious goals and objectives aligned with the strategic plan.
