My whole life I've had a passion for helping those who are struggling. This passion is what draws me to social work. I have found that social work provides a multitude of exciting opportunities to meet people where they are at, and help them find their way through difficult times. It brings me joy to be involved in this workMy social work journey so far has allowed me to be involved with school systems and allowed me to help children learn and practice social/emotional skills, and in helping individuals struggling with severe and persistent mental illness be successful in their lives and communities. I look forward to many more opportunities to help and serve others. I am excited to see where a career in social work will take me!
