Initially selected out of 180 companies to participate in the Foundation Bootcamp workshop in January 2015. I pitched to the Board of Advisers for admission to the Accelerator program for our start-up company, Brightwater Technologies, after completing a 3 day seminar on the basics of business development and was selected.After the bootcamp workshops, we were selected from 50 companies to proceed to the Third Business Accelerator Course. This 8 week course builds on the skills taught in Bootcamp to further enrich business models and act on key activities. Course culminated in a pitch competition between 23 companies for investment funding and program sponsorship.

Brightwater Technologies specializes in technologies and products that aid in both recreational activities and global emergency disaster relief efforts by providing individualized access to power and safe drinking water. Our competitive advantage lies our Brightwater Bottle which houses a solar lighting function within a self-purifying water bottle. Brightwater and the Brightwater Bottle were selected as a Finalist in the 2014 Carnegie Mellon Summit on US-China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition.

Researched tech opps for local developing villages. Researched and implemented pilot projects for aquaponic gardening, free-range chicken egg production, and solar powered lighting options. Wrote and presented feasibility study, cost/benefit analysis, and future development recommendations.

Teacher for Extension English students (fluent or native speakers); curriculum focuses on high school prep, literary analysis, and advanced vocabulary and grammar.

Was promoted to Course Organizer for sophomore Newspaper Reading course in Spring 2012. Selected judge for freshman English Plays competition

Interned for 3 summers under the Women and Minorities in Engineering Scholarship Program; 2 summers as a CAD technician in the E&I department, 1 summer monitoring sewer effluent with the Water Analytics Team in the Process Engineering department, while also assisting Energy Cost Savings Team in their Environmental/Sustainability Improvement activities.
