After working on all things SEO as a copywriter, I was internally promoted into the role of SEO Executive - focussing on the strategic and data-led elements of Search Engine Optimisation. Throughout my time in this role, I've been stationed within different internal departments to propose and lead various projects to promote Twinkl's high-quality content to educators everywhere. As part of this role I have been able to:- Take an active role in strategic planning, setting out priorities and SMART objectives for each project.- Coordinate work with copywriters and team leaders to ensure work is delegated fairly and effectively.- Report data insights and results to key internal stakeholders, providing context and justification for the ongoing projects.- Gain hands on experience with SEO software, including SEOmonitor, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.

In my first full-time role, I joined Twinkl's Growth Marketing Team as an SEO Copywriter. In a relatively short period, I learned all about researching, drafting and publishing copy that targetted high-value SEO keywords.In this role, I began learning about all things SEO, as well as playing around with words to create engaging copy to brighten up our pages and blogs while driving up those all-important conversions. Alongside my writing skills, I also took the opportunity to develop my knowledge of on-page and technical SEO best practice, helping me to draft effective and efficient copy for multiple audiences and formats.
